Dutoit Juicy Gems In-store Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Competition Overview

The Dutoit Juicy Gems In-store Competition (“the Competition”) is a promotional campaign inviting customers to participate in the Dutoit Juicy Gems game by purchasing Dutoit apples and engaging with the in-pack QR code for a chance to win exciting prizes.

2. How to Enter

To take part in the competition:

Buy a pack of Dutoit Juicy Gems apples at a Checkers near you.
Inside the pack, locate the sticker pack containing a QR code.
Scan the QR code using a mobile device.
- School Metric: Enter the unique code printed beneath the QR code to enter the game and participate in the School competition. Collect the all the badges to unlock the Golden Tree.

3. Prizes

Student Prize

The player who achieves the fastest time and gets the furthest in the Dutoit Juicy Gems game will stand a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy A35 smartphone.

Teacher/School Network Prizes

If you are a participating teacher in the Tangible network, your entries will still count toward:
- The R5000 cash prize for the teacher with the most valid student entries per school.
- Your school’s chance to win one of three (3) Dutoit branded gazebos.

Note: General shoppers are eligible for the student prize only.

4. Competition Period

The campaign runs from 30 June to 30 September 2025.
Winners will be announced after the campaign ends, no later than 15 October 2025.

5. Eligibility

Open to all residents of South Africa, except employees and immediate family members of Dutoit, Tangible Africa, Leva Foundation, and affiliated promotional partners.
One unique code per play. Duplicate or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

The Samsung Galaxy A35 phone winner will be selected based on gameplay performance.
Winners will be contacted via the contact information provided during game registration.
If a winner cannot be reached within 5 working days, an alternate winner may be selected.

7. General Terms

Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
By participating, entrants agree that their names, likenesses, and/or school names may be used in promotional materials.
Organisers reserve the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.

8. Disclaimer on Phone Use

📱 Dutoit Juicy Gems and Tangible Africa do not encourage or promote the use of mobile phones during school hours or teaching time. Gameplay should take place outside school hours and under adult supervision where applicable.
